Tetra Pak Unveils
Probiotic Straws In U.S.
Tetra Pak, Vernon Hills, IL, has signed a joint marketing agreement with re­search and development company BioGaia Biologics, Stockholm, Sweden, to add probiotic straws to ambient packaging in the U.S. The individually wrapped LifeTop Straws contain Lactobacillus reuteri and can be attached to the outside of beverage cartons.
